📖 "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you."

Restoration or to restore means to return to the original position, bringing back what existed before, a return of something to a former or unimpaired position, restitution of something taken away or lost. One common denominator in all the meanings of restoration is the return of something to its ORIGINAL form. May God restore you back to the original plan that He had for you before the foundations of the world in Jesus Name.

When God says He wants to restore things back to their original position, we need to know what the original is. In the beginning when God created man, He blessed man and said: '...be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.' Genesis 1:28. The first man Adam exercised dominion; as can be seen in Genesis 2:19, which says: 'And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.' God created man in His own image. Genesis 1:27, and the original that God made was very good Genesis 1:31. Receive the grace of dominion over your environment in Jesus Name.

In the beginning, there was no poverty, sickness, untimely death, lack, struggle, etc. In the beginning, Adam was destined to be fruitful. The plan of God for us dates back to the original as seen in Jeremiah 29:11 which says 'I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plan to give you the future you hope for'. (MSG). I prophesy unto your life, that the original plan of God for your life will be reinstated in Jesus Mighty Name.

Joel 1:4 reveals a situation of calamitous proportion in the land where one devourer takes over from the leftover of a previous devourer until nothing was left. However, there was divine restoration in Joel 2:25-27 where God said 'And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I have sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I AM is in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed'. This is a promise of God to restore His people back to the original position. May these promises be your portion in Jesus Name! Anything that has swallowed you, your destiny, your family, your dreams will vomit you out, and you will gain lost grounds in Jesus Name. You will no longer weep, you will not be ashamed, you will not be disgraced, and you will not be disappointed in Jesus Mighty Name.
