From the Bible passage of today, the term "abundant life" comes from the Bible verse John 10:10b, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". "More abundantly" means to have a superabundance of a thing. "Abundant life" refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body, and soul. "Abundant life" signifies a contrast to feelings of lack, emptiness, and dissatisfaction, and such feelings may motivate a person to seek the meaning of life and a change in their life.

When things are going well for you, your focus must be Jesus. And also, when things seem to be going rough, when trials and tribulations come into your life, you've got to stay focused on Jesus. See, when problems come our way we tend to take our focus off Jesus. We take our focus off Jesus and put it on our heartache. We take our focus off Jesus and put it on our suffering. I declare that God will help you🫵 to put your eyes 👀 permanently on Jesus in Jesus Name 🙏!

The fact is, everyone experiences failure in life. Life is never an unbroken series of victories. We all have setbacks and losses, and sometimes a defeat can seem to overwhelm you. On occasion we bring defeat on ourselves, but more often it is thrust upon us. Our brother Job felt overwhelmed. Look at Job 17:11 where he says, my days are past, my plans are shattered, and so are the desires of my heart ❤️. Have you ever felt like that? - "Man, I have been left behind!" You may be saying, "But pastor, I don't need this message!" Well, let me tell you something - you had better take note, because someday you will need this message, because everybody experiences defeats in life. So, take it down now, and use it as preventive medicine 💊! The fact is - you will fail many times in life, but you are never a failure until you give up. Every success is built on failure. You will never be conquered by failure in Jesus Name 🙏!

Stagnation in the midst of acceleration is an error. To be in one place when everyone and things around you are moving forward in a progressive direction is not of God. Stagnation is not about not doing anything; it's doing the same thing, the same way, the same place, with the same people all the time. It's time to move on to something new, and to start here today - Now!!! The will of God for you as a Christian is for you to experience growth and motion in everything that you do in life. God is a God of processes. Everything He ever made, He made through a process. Growth and motion are both products of "processes of life". Webster dictionary defines Growth as progressive development; while motion is defined as an act, process, or instance of changing place. God's destiny for your life is Greatness, and greatness does not come to pass in a day, but it is designed to unfold to you in phases. Life is made to manifest itself in phases and God expects you to move from one phase to another unto the full picture of your destiny. In First Kings, chapter 18, the Samaritans had been in a great famine. For three and a half years, there had been no rain 🌧️. The people barely had food; they were barely surviving. The prophet Elijah showed up and said to King Ahab, "I hear the sound of the abundance of rain 🌧️!" When he said that, there wasn't a cloud ☁️ in the sky. There was no sign of rain at all, yet he chose to believe what he heard in his spirit despite what he saw. With his eyes 👀 he saw drought, famine, and barrenness, but down in his spirit he heard the abundance of rain 🌧️. I prophesy, as you🫵 believe the word of God today, there will be a fulfilment of God's promises over your life in Jesus Name 🫵.

Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.'" All three members of the Godhead are here associated with smile, joy and pleasure. It is because God is the creator of smile, joy and pleasure, and Jesus exhibited smile, joy on its highest level, and this would be impossible had He never had the joy and pleasure of laughter. Deny Him this and you do not have the ideal man and the perfect specimen of manhood, but a being unlike the best of men that we know of in history. May God give you🫵 divine smile that will attract favour to you🫵 from men, bringing over-flow of joy to your spirit today in Jesus Name🙏.

✍️ In Isaiah 7:2 the Bible said, Now the house of David was told, "Aram has allied itself with Ephraim", so the hearts of Ahaz and his people were shaken, as the trees of the forest are shaken by the wind. This enemy is their brethren to the north. The people of Israel had been divided into two nations now. There are the tribes of the north called Israel and 2 tribes of the south called Judah. So Judah had been invaded by their brethren from the north. But the worst thing is that the brethren to the north had made an alliance with the king of Syria, so the two nations have come into the land of Judah. They intend to take this city. They want to split this kingdom into 2 divisions. One part will belong to Syria and one will belong to Israel. So the enemy are marching in. The king and the people are greatly disturbed.

✍️ The glory of God isn't just a feeling, an event or an Old Testament experience - it's a spiritual tsunami of everything contained in the character of God. The word glory is literally translated "heavy weight", meaning the heaviest, biggest, grandest thing about someone. It has been called the manifested presence of God, but more than just a presence, its power. The kind of power that resurrects, delivers, overcomes and transforms. It is greater and stronger than any other power in existence. And it belongs to us. Man is the only creature created in the image of God. You are an image of God. Yet, maybe you feel like the glory of God is untouchable, unreasonable. Maybe you think of the manifestation of the glory of God as something reserved for special church services or an extraordinary circumstance. All the while, though, you long to see the power of God manifest in your life, your church and your country. Thank God you are still on earth 🌎. The glory of God will start to manifest in your life today in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏.

Because of the poor economic conditions and low standard of living of the present age, many have lost hope of the future and belief that good tidings will come their way to make them shout shouts of joy. ✍️ Our greatness as the Disciples of Christ is determined by our work as a servant. It is not based on ability or personality. It is not based on how much we have or who we know. We are placed in the ranks of God's kingdom according to our life as a servant. When you look around today especially among Christians, we see ungodly behaviours and unhealthy communication and competition because of the selfish desire by many to be recognized and rewarded for their service in the gathering of God. They forget Psalms 75:6-7 which says: "for promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another ". So many people are looking for a human promotion. They want to bask in the approval of others. Haman was like that. He wanted the accolades of other human beings, but was humiliated when Mordecai received honour, and not himself. I prophesy against every spirit of self-promotion in your life today in Jesus Name 🙏.

✍️ Mankind seems to be predisposed to worship. It seems to be inherent in his nature. Where we find men - we find worshippers. Men worship all kinds of gods. They worship nature - the sun ☀️, moon 🌙 and stars ✨,. They worship idols, things they have formed from their own hands and from the recesses of their depraved imaginations. Isaiah the Prophet of God brings this indictment against such idolatry Isaiah 44:9-20. "A man cuts a tree 🌴 from the forest, with part he cooks his food and warms himself. But he takes the remainder and fashions a god - bows to it and cries 'save me you are my god' But they cannot hear, they cannot see neither can they be moved with compassion!

✍️ Isn't it interesting to know that the Lord appeared to Solomon twice to tell him He has answered his prayers? The first time, the Lord had given him a blank cheque to 'Ask what I shall give thee' (Anything, just anything). 1 Kings 3:5. The second time, '.....the LORD appeared to Solomon as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon, And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me.....' 1 Kings 9:2-3. What could make God to be so impressed with Solomon to appear to him twice? Has God appeared to you 🫵 before consequent upon your prayers? Have you🫵 prayed through like this before to the extent that God personally appear to you to give you a blank cheque? If God were to tell you 'Ask what I shall give thee', what would you ask? It's time to provoke God's presence. Receive grace to provoke God's presence over your life today in Jesus Name 🙏.

Such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God. A wonder; marvel, a wonderful or surpassing example of some quality: a miracle of modern acoustics. A miracle is an event which supersedes the natural laws which govern and control the universe. I prophesy to you 🫵, some positive events beyond human comprehension and that supersedes natural laws will be your portion in Jesus Name 🙏.

✍️ The "I" in this verse of today's text is emphatic, meaning that life is found in no other than Him. Life is entered by no other than Jesus Himself. Many times the Lord Jesus used the expression "I am," which is one of the titles of deity. The word am is the present singular of be. It means something that is happening at this present moment. Jesus is saying here, "I am." Not will be, not maybe, not might be, but I am. When we search the scriptures we find that Jesus said; "I am the father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Before Abraham was, I am." "I am the living bread which came down from heaven", "I am the bread of life he that cometh to me shall never hunger", "I am the light of the world 🌎 ", "I am the resurrection and the life", "I am the way, the truth and the life", "I am the true vine ye are the branches".

What this means is that you are expected to get up, stand up, ascend and come into notice (be recognized) during this month. To "Arise" also means to move on to the next level, a higher level. You🫵 do not arise downward 👇, you🫵 arise upward 👆. Many issues may have tied you down, many burdens and yokes may be pulling you down 👇, perhaps it's debt or sickness, friend, expect to get up. The God of Breakthrough, the Creator of the Universe, the One who holds the whole world 🌎 in His hand says "ARISE", stand up. May you🫵 arise today in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏.

✍️ The word "revival" comes from the word "revive". It means, "to restore to consciousness or life". The second definition to the word "revive" is "to restore from depression, inactivity, or unused state: bring back". Revival doesn't come from the outside in. It begins first in the inside. It comes by spending time in the presence of God only then can you be restored to the God kind of life. Revival doesn't come by sitting in meetings or by running to this church or to that church. One of the ways you're going to experience revival in your life is by your pressing in to the things of God. You have to spend time with the Lord. You have to spend time in the Word. You have to spend time in Prayer, praying in the Holy Ghost. Church will experience revival if the church as a whole seeks God's face and spending quality time in prayer. Receive the grace of God to revive that dream in Jesus Name 🙏.

✍️ Rest means to stop being active for a period to relax and get back your strength, or to cause someone or something to stop doing an activity in order to get back strength. There are two kinds of rest, or rather what goes by the name of rest, within reach of man. The secret of the one is, escape from trouble; the secret of the other is, entering life. The rest God is talking about is not rest from your daily work or physically exhausted when you have worked hard. It is that profound peace that God gives to those who love and obey Him regardless of circumstances. It is peace that involves the whole faculty as the Bible Dictionary stipulates. I prophesy, all round rest to you🫵 from today in Jesus Name 🙏.

✍️ When you🫵 rest, God works. Look at what happens when you🫵 become rest conscious. Looking at the story of how Jesus healed a man who had been suffering from an infirmity for 38 years. In John 5:8-9, Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk". And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. I asked the Lord why He asked the man to take up his bed. Why not just ask him to rise and walk? And He showed me that the bed 🛏️ is a picture of rest. So what Jesus was saying to the man was, "Rise, take a rest and walk!" God wants you🫵 to sit down and rest while He completes His work. Notice that that day was the Sabbath, the day of rest. Therefore, what God is saying is that when you rest, He works! Isn't this amazing? Receive grace to rest for a while that will end in testimonies in Jesus Name 🙏.

✍️ Many people are not aware of the works of this spirit. God created THE WASTER. Who is the waster? Satan 👿 is the waster. When God created the Devil 👿, He made him perfect in all things. Read Ezekiel 28:15. Now, God does not waste anything, and since the devil 👿 chose another path for himself, God converted him into his servant. When the devil 👿 is carrying out his evil in the world 🌎, he has been permitted to do so in the lives of those who do not keep God's commandments. However, many times he [Satan 👿] oversteps his boundaries [as Nebuchadnezzar did in dealing with the people of Israel]. The scripture talks more of how Satan 👿 is a destroyer. Even Jesus Himself described him as such: John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly".

Knowledge is good but understanding is better. Knowledge is powerful but understanding is more powerful. Once a man understands, he will never remain the same again; he will be transformed. ✍️ In any sports you've played before, you know that there must be rules in the game. God is always the winning team leader. His winning strategy is the establishment of Heaven here on earth 🌎. That is how God wins, meaning that the way things are run in Heaven would be brought down 👇 into the hearts and lives of men and women who are here living on the earth 🌎. The law of God, the authority of God, and the supremacy of God, invading from heaven and coming down 👇 into the hearts of men and women on this earth 🌎 is how the kingdom of God wins this day. No longer for man would it be our own self ruling, but we will be led now by the Spirit of God. It will not be our own ideas that dictate our decisions, but truly it will be the Word that is the determining factor that pops up into our hearts to say "No!" "Go right!" "Go left!" "Make a stop!" It would be the Word of God that would guide our feet through the road 🛣️ of life. Our decisions would not be our own, but they would be God's will in our life. That is what Heaven on earth 🌎 really looks like, and that is the kingdom of God winning. Receive the grace to remain in the winning team today in Jesus Name 🙏.

Philippians 4:4
✍️ JOY is "a feeling of great pleasure and happiness". It's the emotion we feel when life is good — when the sun is shining, when our team is winning, when we are healthy, happy and heartened. Most people do not typically speak of the happiness of heartbreak 💔, the pleasure of migraines, or the bliss of losing. Philippians is the most Joyful book in the Bible. The Apostle Paul uses the Greek words for joy and rejoicing sixteen times in only 104 verses. And yet he writes from a dingy Roman prison, a place we would typically associate with misery and trial, which most people assume are the opposite of joy. He's surrounded by every conceivable obstacle to joy, so why does he seem so. In Philippians 3:1 and 4:4, Paul commands us to rejoice in the Lord. What does this familiar command mean? For the apostle, "the Lord" regularly means the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus humbled Himself even unto death on the cross, the Father highly exalted Him, and all will one day pay homage to His universal reign. Philippians 2:6-11. Rejoice in the Lord means that these truths about Jesus: who He is, what He has done, and what He will do — personally and profoundly affect us. Receive the grace of rejoicing always in Jesus Name 🙏.

In John 7:37 Jesus said, "If anyone thirsts..." The benefits of water 💦 far outweigh artificial and addictive sugar-laden drinks. The benefits of true religion far outweigh counterfeits. According to the Webster Meridian Dictionary, water keeps us slimmer, boosts energy, and lowers stress due to dehydration; builds muscle 💪 tone and prevents cramps; reduces wrinkles from the inside; aids regularity and reduces kidney stones. ✍️ Making the meaning of hospitality from the people of the ancient near East. For a person from a nomadic nomad settlement, a question of hospitality might very well mean the difference between life and death. It was usually the custom to allow a passing stranger to spend a night in your town or settlement, but then the expectation was that the person would move on. However, permission to camp overnight was by no means assured. God Himself loves the stranger and provides the stranger with food and clothing. And then God's people are commanded to love strangers because they themselves were once strangers in Egypt. "Loving" the stranger certainly goes beyond what we normally think of as hospitality in our society. The biblical concept of "loving" someone, as you probably know, is not just about doing unto others as you would have them do unto you; it's about going further than that and actually putting their needs and welfare before your own.

But Paul had enough of the spirit and commanded in the name of Jesus Christ for it to come out of her, and it did. Paul did righteously before God, but the people saw it evil. But her masters saw that they had lost their money making machine/cash cow and said these men, being Jews, are troubling our city, teach customs that are not lawful for us to receive, and they had them beaten and cast them into prison, put them in the inner prison, and made their feet fasten in the stocks. Paul used the authority that God has given to him and set someone free, someone was made different, someone was delivered. It was great! But even though something is great for one person it is usually a problem for someone else. Some of us are suffering today because of our kindness to people or righteousness. Usually by June of the year, it's over and we are left unchanged. Why is that? When we touch something, we are becoming intimately involved with that thing. While I have heard of people losing some, or all of the other senses, I have never heard of a person losing their sense of touch. Can you imagine not being able to touch your world 🌎?

The use of the word 'you' implies that God formed Jeremiah, a person, not a lump of tissue that only becomes a living child after exiting the mother's womb. Today is my day of Celebration 💃. This day is pretty much like any other day. We're told that Peter and John were going to the temple for the prayer service by 3 in the afternoon (verse 1). It was only eight weeks ago that they witnessed Jesus' ascension into heaven - before that, Mary saw Him at the tomb. This same Peter ran into the tomb with John standing outside, peering in, witnesses to the empty grave clothes. They were heading to prayers after witnessing Jesus breaking bread 🍞 and in a moment when they recognized Him, He vanished! They were heading to prayers after accounts of 120 and 500 people saw Jesus among them; heading to prayers. There is power in you🫵 from the day you🫵 met Jesus and that power will lead you🫵 in celebration 💃 today in Jesus Name

Psalms 23:5
A cup runs over when it cannot hold all that is being poured into it. God didn't only gave his people what they need, but He supplies abundance in the midst of difficult times. This abundance is not limited to material blessings under the Old Covenant, but it also includes the Holy Spirit's future outpouring upon all who ask. Luke 11:13; Acts 2:14. The Bible emphasizes the excessive love, blessing and power that God desires to pour out on those who love Him. Malachi 3: 10 ; Lamentations 3:22; Psalms 108:4. Jesus reflected God's generosity when He said. 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly'. John 10:10. Paul continues that theme in Ephesians 3:20 and describes God as the One who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine'. Romans 8:37 promises that we are 'more than conquerors through Him who loves us'. I prophesy to you🫵 reading this devotional, your cup will run over today in Jesus Name 🙏.

And God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion, over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth'. It is God's desire for us to be fruitful and to multiple. If you are going to multiply, it means your going to move forward. It means you should be accomplishing or going into new levels of fruitfulness all the time. As we move forward we should bear more fruit 🍑. This world🌎 is all about glory, honour and power. The entire universe speaks of the wonder called 'glory'. The Lord made it so! There is no one word that can fully describe glory. The word 'glory' speaks of riches, beauty, ecstasy, majesty, dignity, splendor, pleasure and bright shining admiration. All these words are a clear description of God, and His awesome Kingdom called heaven. The Almighty God is glory personified. That is the reason we are told that the twenty-four elders fall down before God in heaven to say, 'Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created'. Revelation 4:11. Even 'the heavens declare the glory of God...' Psalms 19:1. I prophesy to you🫵 this morning, your life will declare the glory of God henceforth in Jesus Name 🙏.

Thanksgiving is a combination of two words, Thanks and Giving. Thanks is an expression (the action of making known one's thoughts and feelings) of gratitude, appreciation, and acknowledgement. While Giving is to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation. "Enter into His gates" means the gates which lead to His temple, or to the place of public worship. "Into His courts" means the "courts" were literally the open spaces which surrounded the tabernacle or temple. It was in these that worship was celebrated, and not in the tabernacle or temple. Before any worshipper starts heading to the temple, he must first think of what to use as a sacrifice for atonement and God's kindness towards him and his family that worth giving God praise at the public court of worship. Have you thought of the goodness of God over your life recently, and what have you decided to appreciate Him with? As you🫵 enter His courts with praise today, may God grant all your requests and answer all your prayers even without asking in Jesus Name 🙏.

Throughout the Hebrew Bible, God is making covenants with people. In deals, someone often gets the short end of the stick; someone must give up something to get from the other person or entity what they think they need or want. Once you make a deal with people, you are on guard most of the time. On the other hand, covenants are based on mutual trust and are always win/win. God seems to want relationships that are based on trustworthiness and faithfulness, not fear or conniving. In our story today, God makes such a covenant with Abram. God comes to Abram and promises to make him "exceedingly numerous". God basically said, "Abram, I'm changing your name; and that name change will mark a new stage in our relationship." Sarai will become Sarah, and from her will arise nations and kings 👑. It's a double blessing. Receive grace to enter into covenant with God today in Jesus Name 🙏.
