The task of the Holy Ghost is to bring into being the commandment of the Father and the performance of the Son. To understand the job of the Holy Spirit, we need to understand the work of the Father and the Son.

God the Father is the one who gives the command. He has always been the one who says, "Let there be". On the other hand, God the Son performs the command of the Father. When God the Father said, "Let there be light", God the Son came and performed it. Then, God the Holy Spirit brought the light.

Let me illustrate it this way: If I ask you, "Please turn on the light", three forces would be involved. First, I would be the one who gave the command. Second, you would be the one who walks to the switch and presses it — you are the performer of the command. But finally, who brings on the light? It is not me, and it is not you. It is the power; the electricity that produces light.

The Holy Spirit is the power of the Father and of the Son. He is the one who brings into action and reality the performance of the Son. He is a person. He has emotions that are expressed in a way unique among the Trinity. But we cannot be in touch with the Father and the Son without the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:18. I prophesy to you today, may God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost meet your expectations in Jesus Name.

John 14:26 says: But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. (Amplified)

The Holy Spirit is our Helper: The English dictionary defines a helper as a person who helps someone else; assistant, co-worker, fellow worker. There are profound differences between God's definition of helper and our cultural stereotype of that role. When God says "helper" He refers to someone with great skills — someone like Himself.

Psalms 121:1-2 says: I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Often we look to the wrong place for help. How many of us look on the inside for help? How many of us depend on Him who is dwelling within us to help us? Sometimes we run all over the country looking for some minister to help instead of running to the Greater One on the inside. I prophesy to you today that the Holy Ghost will help you achieve everything you couldn't achieve before the end of this season in Jesus Name.

The Holy Ghost is our Comforter: One that gives comfort. One that consoles. If you are born again, the Holy Spirit is always in you as a Comforter to help and comfort you in any need. If you depend upon Him to comfort you, He will do it. You'll have comfort from within. People won't be able to understand how you can be so composed and at peace in times of trouble. But you'll know why. Thank God, the Comforter lives within you! I prophesy to you, in all your troubles before now, the Holy Ghost will comfort you in Jesus Name.
