✍️ Overtake can be defined as being able to catch up with; draw even or level with; or to pass after catching up with. It could also mean to come upon someone or something unexpectedly and as such takes such a thing or one by surprise. In 1 Samuel 6:1-13, we have the story of a father; Jesse who had eight sons and was privileged to be chosen by God as the father of the next king 👑 in Israel. When Samuel the kingmaker visited, one would have thought that Jesse would line up all his eight sons before Samuel, but he paraded the first seven and it took Samuel curiosity to joggle his memory before he remembered that he had an eight son called David.

The rejected was anointed by Samuel in front of his over-takers and the Spirit of God decended upon him afterwards. This enabled him to slay Goliath and in no time, he was 'rubbing shoulders' with kings 👑 and princesses. He was also made a Commander in the Army, whereas his previous over-takers that normally hush him up were mere soldiers 1 Samuel 8:1-5. God said to Samuel, I have seen a man after my heart. God had seen a man in your family who will Overtake his over-takers. You🫵 are the one in Jesus Name 🙏.

What challenges have overtaken you🫵 in life? What are the problems that have overwhelmed your spirit and soul? What are those things contending with your progress and advancement in life? Who are the people you have started the journey of life with that has made you feel inadequate?

Whether it is people, spirits or situations, you🫵 are overtaking them this month and beyond. May God's hand lift you🫵 up and drop you🫵 in their front and cause you🫵 to remain there till the end of the 'race' in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏.

When David enquired of the Lord concerning the Amalekites who invaded Ziklag; God told him to pursue, with an assurance that he would surely Overtake them. David was about to move in the direction of people who began to run ahead of him, but God gave him the grace to overtake. Beloved, are there 'Amalekites' who began to run before you🫵? Are there ungodly people who are ahead of you🫵 in the journey of life? Hear God's prophetic words for you🫵 this day:

You🫵 will overtake the 'Amalekites' ahead of you🫵 in Jesus Name 🙏.

You🫵 will run ahead of those who began the race before you🫵 in Jesus Name 🙏.

You🫵 will receive a divine empowerment to overtake people who have already run miles ahead of you🫵 in destiny. God will empower you🫵 to be ahead of the crowd in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏. (Congratulations 🎉)
