✍️ Rest means to stop being active for a period to relax and get back your strength, or to cause someone or something to stop doing an activity in order to get back strength. There are two kinds of rest, or rather what goes by the name of rest, within reach of man. The secret of the one is, escape from trouble; the secret of the other is, entering life. The rest God is talking about is not rest from your daily work or physically exhausted when you have worked hard. It is that profound peace that God gives to those who love and obey Him regardless of circumstances. It is peace that involves the whole faculty as the Bible Dictionary stipulates. I prophesy, all round rest to you🫵 from today in Jesus Name 🙏.

The rest on every side is comprehensive, including every aspect concerned. Primarily, it means a rest from intense activity. It is rests from Labour and toil. It means that God gives you time to spend peacefully without being burdened by anxious thoughts of troubles confronting you. In Christian life, God gives such seasons of rest after intense periods of struggle and activity. It is a time of refreshing in another level, it is time for reflection. It is time to look back and see the marvelous ways in which God cared and provided. This is important because during times of struggle, many do not find time to think of the ways God guided them. So, when God gives rest, He is gifting a period to reflect on how He dealt with you gently and with great compassion. I prophesy to you🫵 this morning that God will give you🫵 rest on every side in Jesus Name 🙏. May God give you🫵 from today: Financial Rest, Marital Rest, Ministerial Rest, Health Rest and Rest from Adversary in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏.

In Exodus 33:14-16; the Bible said, "And God said, my presence will go with you and I will give you rest. And Moses said to God, If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favour in your sight, I and my people? Is it not in your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and my people, from every other people on the face of the earth 🌎?". The background here in Exodus 33 is so important.

It's such a potent picture. In response to the sin of God's people in Exodus 32, God says in Exodus 33, "Okey, I've relented from destroying these people who have disobeyed me. Worshiped other gods instead of Me, but I will not go with you Moses, and with them into the promised land, so you can have it. You can have the promised land, it's yours for the taking, but I will not go with you". That's what God said in the beginning of Exodus 33, but what Moses did as he stood in the gap before God and he said, "God, I can't go forward. These people can't go forward without you. We need you. If your presence doesn't go with us, then we can't go into the land. We need you". Moses does not want to take one step apart from the fullness of the presence of God. Is the same true of us? May God go with you🫵 today in Jesus Name 🙏.

But in Exodus 33:14 God says to Moses, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest". In the aftermath of that pronouncement, Moses prays that the power of God's presence will be evident to all the people in the promised land as he goes with them. I pray for you today; may you not move one step forward without God's presence, henceforth in Jesus Name. May you always live in HIS presence, Walk in his presence all day long in Jesus Name 🙏. I prophesy to you🫵 that God's presence will be with you🫵 throughout this month and give you🫵 rest in every side in Jesus Name 🙏.
