š "When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou."
āļø In life, there are lots of battles to fight. God didn't say we have to fight these battles alone. When Moses told the children of Israel about the Promised Land, he said that God would"cast out" their enemies:
1.š· JEBUSITE: The name of the original inhabitants of Jebus, means trodden down. This tribe represents those who are discouraged, overwhelmed and defeated, guilt, condemnation, shame, the spirit of heaviness and depression.
2.š· GIRGASHITE: Dwelling in clayey soil, the descendants of the fifth son of Canaan. Genesis 10:16, means the dwellers of the clay, compromise or living in the grey areas.
3.š· CANAANITE: The descendants of Canaan, the son of Ham. It means materialism. This is one of the greatest enemies today, especially in this generation. The spirit of covetousness will rob from us the promise of God. Youš«µ cannot serve God and mammon. "We can't serve God and money š°.
4.š· HITTITES: They are first referred to in Scripture in the history of Abraham, who bought from Ephron the Hittite the field and the cave of Machpelah. Genesis 15:20; 23:3-18. The meaning of the name Hittite is: One who is broken, Fear.
I prophesy to youš«µ this morning every spirit of fear of unknown, hungry, barrenness, unemployment is destroyed by fire š„ today in the name of Jesus š.
5.š· PERIZZITE: Villagers; dwellers in the open country, means opened and unwalled. This open, unprotected existence represents a type of "spirit of immorality". I prophesy to youš«µ this morning, every spirit of immorality ravaging this generation will not locate youš«µ in Jesus Name š.
6.š· AMORITE: Highlanders, or hillmen, the name given to the descendants of one of the sons of Canaan. Genesis 14:7, means pride and rebellion, proud, boasting, bitter and rebels. I prophesy against every spirit of pride, rebellion, self-righteousness be destroyed in Jesus Name š.
7.š· HIVITES: One of the original tribes scattered over Palestine, means lie openly. This tribe represents a type of the spirit of humanism. This spirit is represented as a serpent š. Today, I prophesy against every spirit of Jebusites, Girgashites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Amorites, and Hivites be destroyed by fire š„ in Jesus Mighty Name š.
